The Principality of Zeon is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zeon Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable leads an attack on the space colony Side 7. There, he discovers the Earth Federation’s newest weapon, the abandoned RX-78-2 Gundam. He then decides to steal it for himself, setting in motion a domino effect that will forever change history as we know it. Five years later, on the independent colony Side 6, a young Newtype girl finds herself caught up in the hunt for the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. Soon, events conspire to place her in the pilot’s seat of the new prototype Gundam GQuuuuuuX and participate in underground mobile suit fighting competitions. Surrounded by new friends, she tries to understand her strange powers and find her place in the world by dreaming of skies where she can fly free.
